Breaking News from David Cenciotti's website. 2 Italian Marines in Indian custody!

Wow.

From David's site.
Two Italian Navy riflemen belonging to the San Marco Battalion, are currently under custody in India pending the investigation about the alleged killing of two Indian fishermen 30 miles off the southern Indian coast on Feb. 15.
The two military were on board the merchant ship Enrica Lexie as Military Security Team on Italian ships in areas under threat of pirates. Although the episode is still under investigation, the Italian Navy explained in an official statement that at about 12.30PM  Italian Time, the merchant ship was approached by a suspect vessel with armed sailors that did not respond to warning signs.
In compliance with the stardand procedures, the security team on board the Enrica Lexie fired three sets of warning shots for deterrence whose effect was to discourage the pirates. The alleged pirate boat departed from the Italian merchant ship without signs “of obvious onboard damages.”
However, two fishermen died and Indian authorities denied that any of the crew members of the “suspect” vessel was armed.
This is not going to end well unless some adults take charge with a quickness.

  1. Where was the ship when the "attack" took place?
    Did they video the event?
How exactly did the Italian security team end up in custody...were they arrested on the boat at sea, or when the boat docked? There must have been a bit of drama during the arrest procedure!

  4. The ship was 24 miles from the coast of india(0n special economic Zone). The incident took place at 4.30 pm in the evening. The alleged pirates happened to be fishing in indian waters for last 7 yrs not for ships but for fishes so that they can feed their family.

  5. The ship was in international waters , the indian authorities asked for the ship to enter an indian harbour , so the ship accomply but there the two sailors were took in custody against every international law/agreement , the indian authorities refused to permit any autopsy and to make any ballistic investigation on the bullets , this is a very hostile behaviour from indian authorities and from a friendly country , completely unexpected hostile behaviour from them !

  6. Autopsy was performed, get u fact correct,if any one want the autopsy report they can have it if they request for it through proper channel .
Italian authorities have refused to hand off there weapons and was not co-operating with indian authorities for conducting a ballistic investigation as per latest reports in local media.
Regarding autopsy ,one person got shot both at head and chest and another at his chest, both of them died instantly. 2 and 1 bullets where recovered from the respective bodies
of diseased sailors.Atleast twenty bullet exist holes can be seen on the boat used by indian fisherman.Bullets was recovered from boat , which is been investigated.
To get the fact correct,Italian ship is claiming that they used flash lights to warn Indian fisherman off at 4.30 pm in daylight(In our part of world we cannot see flash light at day time). After which they fired warning shot in the air ,which prevented the alleged pirate attack.( Coastal and naval agencies of india are confused till now how this bullets hit the boat????????! any idea)
There was atleast 2 ships of coast guard and one ship of indian navy on stand by for responding to distress call of any merchant ships ,but italian
ship did not use this option instead they fired on innocent indian fisherman ,one 23 yrs old boy and 45 yrs old family man who work for daily wages. After firing shots in india's special economic zone italian ship did not even inform Maritime control center
in mumbai even after they contacted the ship.
These all is clear violation ,if it was china,in india's place u won't be probably hearing from the ship anymore.
