Goodbye World

With all the problems families have to face, I can certainly understand why it is easier to ignore the vulnerabilities our society faces.

But the threats are too big to ignore aren't they?  And now Hollywood is making movies about things that were once considered fringe.

Interesting.

  1. If you build an end of the world bunker and don't stock it with enough guns and ammo to defend it, you deserve to have it taken from you. Call it idiot tax.

  3. The end of the world as we know it.......Again!
I've spent my life awaiting impending doom, from Russian missiles in Cuba to the last flu bug.
Now, I am awaiting yet another southern ice storm.
The looming over whelming catastrophe that is always looming wears down a person's soul.
I awaited Y2K and was pleasantly surprised when all it did was make the date on my PC change to January 1 1905 and now it's the approaching ice event.
One thing for sure, the end of the world scenario you have prepared for so diligently will not be the one that comes to pass.
Day one we all will be surviving an event which can not be prepped for and simply surviving while rolling with the punches will be the rule of thumb.
What happens if the end of the world comes and we all just ignore it like we have all the other EOTWAWKI events?
I guess we will be right back where we started.
Now, where the hell did I put that rock salt?
