Don't believe the headline? Then start following Chinese state media. They've ramped up the "illegal" and "violent" aspects of the protests dramatically over the last couple of days.
Nevermind the reports of Chinese security/intel agents seen wearing state issued firearms and hurling petrol bombs at police.
The timeline is uncertain but it still looks like China wants to act...it only needs the right provocation.
My guess.
Someone's child that joined the Hong Kong Police will probably be killed in a staged incident by Chinese agents.
A horrific act against law enforcement is the event that will finally justify action.
