I am personally amazed this election is this close.
Talk about WOW!
I am personally amazed that this election is this close. Want to talk about a few take-aways?
* Biden never really presented his plan for the nation...at least the news media didn't report it. When he did talk about it he waivered all over the place.
* The covid response isn't/wasn't the winning issue that the "smart people" seemed to think it was. I think they REALLY SCREWED UP when it came to the impact of all the national house arrest was having on the average person.
* Speaking of house arrest. It was obvious that they were keeping the guy under wraps and this election shows the danger of that.
* No matter who wins the nation is still gonna be dangerously divided. Putting forward any agenda is gonna be difficult and it will NOT be a national consensus (at least on the issues we're currently facing).
* IF Trump wins a second term I hope the dude can tone it down ALOT! I'm talking mainly the tweets. It was out of hand and he needs to get a handle on that trash.
* NEVER TRUMP Republicans are screwed! Those bubbas only had a chance at power if Biden won decisively and IF they could slither back into the Republican party to help pick up the pieces. Now? Now if Trump does lose they'll take a beating from the base. They'll be blamed for Trump's loss. They'll have to become Democrats and hope they're accepted but I'm betting the Dems will go even harder left before they return to the center.

Election Day Late Open Comment. 3 Nov 2020
We're almost at the end of this presidential season. Once again we've unfortunately given future historians to wonder if we all weren't smoking a mixture of crack, heroin, mojo and meth.
Let's hope tonight is calm and that we can somehow keep the wolves at bay.
Confidence is not high.

The moral of the story from my chair? Plan properly. Plan properly. Plan properly. Then once you have a plan check it to make sure. Then make sure you have the proper tools, training, fitness level and mindset.
Lastly?
Don't plan for failure but have a way to extricate yourself from difficulty if things go south.

In walk the true rulers of the Republic. That's what this has been all about. Out of control agencies aligned with the media and obviously influential on both sides of the political spectrum to include the news media. People were simplistic when they talked about a deep state but out of control bureaucrats is what they were talking about.
I have little hope that the nation will come together after the election but I think we will see a crazy ad blitz to give us all that illusion.
Expect 2021 to be even crazier than 2020.

Let me give you my honest appraisal of this election.
YOU'RE FUCKED EITHER WAY!
It really doesn't matter who you elect. We're screwed. No. I said it right in the headline. We're fucked. Somehow, someway in a nation of over 350 million people we've been given the choice between either a dude that talks too much, studies too little and has trouble wrapping his mind around tough issues...and on the other we have a man that is apparently suffering from dementia, is being propped up by not only his wife but an entire party, has soken in public and made us all wonder if he even knew what planet he was on and for all intents and purposes seems like he's drugged half the time.
You think this election is the end?
It's just the beginning of the drama.
America will be wrapped up in foolishness for another four years and I don't see anyone on either sides bench that will be able to put us back together again.
To take it a step further the deep divide might even lead to a change in how we're governed.
FALLOUT (the video game) I think has it right. I think the country will segment into regionalism and you'll see for instance the NE become a federalized district ...the same with the south, the west and the midwest.
Four (or possibly more) different nations under one roof just below the national level with state govts still existing.
We're in a rough ride but don't fool yourself when you cast that ballot.

The Army is already drinking the Marine Corps' milkshake and they're doing it WITH Berger's concept! So much for a unique capability huh?
Berger can bullshit the rest of the Marine Corps into believing that his concept is a unique capability that the Marine Corps will bring to the joint force but that's a lie. The Army will be in the Pacific and they'll be in it in a HUGE WAY!
Berger's Marine Corps just shed ground combat power for no reason other than he wanted to shed ground combat power. This naval fires from shore bullshit could have been ADDED to the force and the Marine Air-Ground Task Force maintained.
At the end of the day I believe this is a vanity project.
Dude just wanted to be "transformative" instead of ensuring that his command was as good or better when he leaves than when he found it (unqualified failure on that point...the Marine Corps is adrift!).
