PVC slingshot arrow...

With so many new immigrants coming to our shores we're about to see some different weapons come to the front. Not the usual pistol (majority of the time), rifle (very few), knife (damn near universal) but new shit like slingshots.

We've seen the havoc that machetes are doing in Europe and the UK, but slingshots are a huge weapon for people in certain parts of the world for harvesting game, defense etc...

You add arrows to the mix and you have something hideous.  Check out the pic below...

I don't go NEAR the woods (there are woods then there are woods...IYKYK) during bow season.

These four bladed arrowheads are savage enough but four bladed mechanical arrowheads?  VICIOUS!

I'd rather be shot than hit with one of those things (I don't even know if you could stop the bleeding if hit with one and yeah...they're going thru your vest).

The gangs of thieves from S. America will either stay up north or get rounded up when they head south.  Not so much a worry. Its some of the others that pause me up.

New arrivals equal new dangers but the public ain't talking about it yet.

Ukrainian propaganda to counter the outrage (from only a few) about their women dying in combat..

UA POV: Yelyzaveta, callsign "Mala" ("Baby"), who recently turned 22, serves in Odesa border guard detachment at the front, Mykolaiv region. Baby came to serve as a cynologist. Now she is a shooter in a mobile firing team that hunts down Shahed drones to prevent them from reaching civilians

PIRANHA Heavy Mission Carrier (HMC)

Wow. Did they just bring back the old 10x10 from way back in the day? What's new is old yada yada yada....

More proof this is over. Iran declares its attack concluded...

Almost a dozen nations involved in shooting down Iranian drones?

I stand by my made for TV drama on this thing.

Think about it.  Somehow someway the allies get enough ships in theater to knock down (along with air power) over 99 percent of the drones and missiles knocked down?

Our allies will not get involved in a war defending Israel (especially with their massive Muslim populations...populations that dwarf the pro-Palestinian/Hamas stuff we're seeing here) that you should know that this thing was decided before it was done.

Iran got their payback.

Israel IS hitting the air waves talking about how they're strong and still here yada yada yada, and the Biden admin can crow about containing the fighting.

This was all theater using real deal flesh and blood humans as the props.

Check out the map below

Well that was alot of ado about nothing...the missile/cruise strikes were alot lighter than I expected. This is over except a little posturing for the next few days.

Well that was alot of ado about nothing.

I kinda expected the Iranians to send at least twice as many missiles and drones.  Make no mistake they easily could have.  But the point was to send a message maintain street cred in the Middle East.

This thing is over.

You might see a little posturing but unless Bibi loses his damn mind and retaliates against this baby strike then, yeah, its over.

Don't know why the US is sending the Boxer to the Med.

I guess the President needs to show a strength.

Ya know what irks me the most?  They're doing made for TV dramas that affect real people's lives, that could cost real people their lives etc...

Not much going on. Just sitting here waiting for the next round to kick off in the Middle East

Like the title says.  Just waiting for the next round to kick off.

1.  I expect another missile barrage.  Terrible for the people getting hit but strategically kinda measured and just enough to save some Middle East street cred.  Both sides will do some low level barking and then it will be back to the Gaza/Hamas issue.

2.  The hit in Australia is very interesting.  Somehow the whole world including xenophobic Japan got caught in the refugee mess. Things are gonna get sporting with regard to immigrants world wide pretty soon.

3.  I still believe that the whole hype around the eclipse was to try and draw out a radical element to take a swing at a crowd somewhere.  Plenty of summer coming so its gonna happen.  It's probably gonna be bad too.  Too many easy targets.  Schools, hospitals, churches, beaches, malls....this country is just a target rich environment of undefended sheep wandering around focused on their phones instead of their surroundings.

4.  Just for shits and giggles name the one govt institution that is still trusted.  I might be jaded (naw...I AM JADED) but running down the list and its bleak.  The military?  Nope.  Science/Medical? Nope.  FBI/CIA/ATF/DHS?  Nope.  None of our "security forces" inspire confidence.  The rest of the bureaucracy?  Not a chance.  I can't name one govt institution worthy of trust let alone admiration.

That's all I got.  The whining is over.  Gonna workout, do another detail at an event tonight and that's it for the day.

Ya'll have a good one.

United States Soldier gets Jumped by the entire brigade for Sleeping with other Soldiers Wives..

Hmmm. I've known of certain wives that were bigger whores than the sluts you'd find outside the gate. HELL I've heard of entire wife swapping clicks going on. I don't know what this is about but sleeping with other soldiers wives? I wonder.

The USMC is pushing the "Stand In Force". The Chinese Marines are all into amphibious assaults...somehow I don't think penny packets of US Marines will deter this activity!

Terrible attempt at intimidation. Split second decision. Life ending consequences.

Nordic Response 24. They keep pushing the MEF as a command & control force while at the same time pushing the Stand In Force concept! It makes no sense!

I just don't get it.

The Marine Corps is in the process of stripping it down to a light infantry/missile slinging/sense & make sense force (recon).

They keep pushing the MEF's as command & control for the joint force in some instances, while pushing the enabler for the joint force in others.

They got to play "lead" in this exercise but USMC leadership should not be fooled.

When Berger came aboard he was pushing the "who are we" meme to justify this radical and unwarranted transformation.

Will an advocate for Force Design 2030 tell me what the Marine Corps is now?

It's got less ground combat power than the 82nd and the gap will widen once those airborne bubbas are all motorized and have a tracked mobile gun.

Same is happening with the heliborne force the Army has in the 101st.

Those are light infantry formations.  Add in the 10th Mountain and the US Army will have more formidable ground combat power in their light infantry forces than the USMC does.

Sense and make sense?  The USAF, USN, and Space Force are all over that with much more modern systems than the USMC will have even at the end of this radical change.

You don't need to put guys on the ground to scout out targets and the Predator is dead meat on a stick against even second rate powerhouses and we're setting up a squadron or two of that ancient beast?  Talk about too little too late.

Marine Air is being severed from support of the ground force so that golden nugget is quickly fading away.

Missiles?  The US Army pacific formation will outgun the MLR by magnitudes.  Even if they get to the islands modern systems will hunt down every possible hiding spot.

So that leaves Force Design 2030 being what I always said it was.

Its a trip wire force.

Its designed so that if China hits Taiwan, the American people will see (hopefully to Marine Corps planners), small groups of Marines dying a horrible death on TV and the hope continues that folks back home are so enraged that the American people demand blood in return.

So who are the Marines with Force Design 2030?

An organization that is going to die because budget cutters will quickly figure out that the Marine Corps no longer provides ANY value.

We're buying exquisite weapon systems now.  Infrastructure hasn't been maintained so its all in shit shape.  The Navy shipbuilding is fucked so the amphibs to transport the force are crazy high.

The transformationalist fucked up.

I believe they realize they fucked up but can't find the courage to admit it.  Their teeth are dug in, their pride is wounded and they can't find a way to back off their bastardized plan that set the Marine Corps back at least a decade.

If the Marine Corps was actually living up to its hype then we would see a whole slew of Colonels, Majors and especially Generals at the very least forced into retirement.

Understand that they just didn't damage the Marines, they damaged our national security.

Naval Aviation & the USAF are our only hope in the Pacific....Navy shipbuilding is OFFICIALLY screwed beyond recognition

Force Design 2030 isn't gonna cut it. Mutli-Domain Brigades or whatever the Army is calling their thing won't either. You can't win sea battles from the shore and you can't hide on islands in this day in age with missiles bigger than houses.

That means its up to Naval Aviation and the USAF.

B-21s?  We definitely need to get those numbers up.  Tactical fighters need to get put back in a box when it comes to naval strike (looking at both services) and a modern A-6E along with a conventional but big payload Air Force bomber need to come online (could the B-1s get modernized to perform the naval strike role?).

The terrible news?

Even if the Navy had every cent they wanted I don't think they would know what to do with it.  If they did I don't think our ship yards could handle the work.

Might be time to tap the S. Koreans on the shoulder, a few European firms too and see what we can buy with few modifications.

We're kinda jacked up.

No one wants to remember the Bush Jr/Rumsfeld era but the decisions then really helped pave the way for a fucked up Navy.

Demons? Maybe but looks like the end of a 7 day meth bender to me...

I've always wondered how this guy had ANY followers. That's another trend that needs to be eradicated. These prosperity pimps posing as preachers need to face a horrible, fiery death.

Many schools in Louisiana closed because of the threat of severe weather....some didn't and this was the result...

The school district, and the parents need to take the pain on this one. How do you let a child get off a bus and then wade thru deep water like that? We have dangerous animals in this state. Alligators and cottonmouths (crazy aggressive snake if you didn't know...makes rattlesnakes look tame) come readily to mind, that could easily hurt this child. Just bad all the way around. Disgusting. As if that young one doesn't have enough to worry about living in batshit crazy New Orleans.

US donates seized weapons to Ukraine...we keep establishing norms that will bite us in the ass...

If we had arms from the war in Iraq/Afghanistan/Syria and we transfered them to Ukraine then I'd say ok. I still think our policy on Ukraine is jacked up but they obviously don't so fuck it. But this? I'm far from a fan of Iran. I do believe they're involved in some heinous shit. But to basically sieze an arms shipment because WE declared it illegal (if there is law backing up the seizure then correct me) and then to do this seems off. The cowboy stuff is gonna bite us. What happens if we send arms to Taiwan and China declares it illegal and suddenly they seize our stuff? Didn't we kinda set the precedent on this? Hopefully some you Sailor types can get me up to speed on the laws of the sea and explain how this isn't piracy/privateering..whatever they call it.

Even Australia's bugs are fucked up....good people but a fucked up land...

Just burn the house to be sure. One? Hell a dozen? But a freaking battalion of bugs? Naw bro.
